Please join us on September 22, 2018 for the 3rd Annual Butt Out Cancer for a GOOD-WIN 5K in Hornell, New York.

The "Butt Out Cancer for a Good-win 5K" event is to honor Diane Goodwin and bring awareness of Colorectal Cancer. Proceeds will benefits the patients of the "Ann and Carl Myers Cancer Center" located in Dansville, NY.

Diane, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer in February 2016, passed away on July 5, 2017. Diane Goodwin was a member of this community her entire life. She was born and raised in Arkport, graduated from Arkport Cental School. After graduating, she moved to Hornell, NY where she raised her son and was involved the the Hornell schools with him. Diane was employed at ASK Chemicals Hi Tech for 28 years. Our goal this year is to honor Diane by showing her how much support Team Goodwin can get!! Please come out and support us at this event!

We will be having a modified scavenger hunt during the race for those who want to participate. Each person will receive a cinch sak at packet pickup and there will be various items along the race/walk at the different water tables. There will be a basket raffle that everyone can participate in as well as a 50/50 raffle.

START/FINISH
The race will start and finish at North Hornell Elementary School using USATF certified Course# NY16023JJ.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race.

There will be no early packet pickup this year....packets will be available to pickup the the school beginning at 8:30am on Race Day!

Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at at the school from 8:30 am right up until the start of the race at 10:00 am.

5K Registration ................ $25 / $30 after 9/18/17

POST RACE CELEBRATION

Join us after the race for a post race celebration including food, snacks, refreshments, music and awards ceremony. J&J Bar-B-Que will be on site for food following the race. Pre-order tickets are available. Tickets are $10/meal which includes a pulled pork sandwich, salt potatoes, and baked beans.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking in the main parking of the school.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the overall male & female 5K runner and medals will be presented to the top three male and female runners in each division based on the following age groups:

14 and under, 15-29, 30-49, 50 and older.

Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
