68 Years of Running with Heart & Sole!
Sacred Heart Academy is running with Heart & Sole by hosting the fifth annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 9am. More than just a race, the day is a celebration of the Sacred Heart Academy community of over 10,000 alumnae, 800+ current students, administration, faculty, and staff, as well as our expanded campus.
Event Details:
COURSE – This 3.1 Mile (5K) course runs through the scenic roads of the Villages of Hempstead & Garden City and starts and ends at the campus of Sacred Heart Academy. The race course is fast & flat-PR friendly! Results are professionally timed. Event is rain or shine.
AWARDS – Awards to Overall Male & Female winners and first 3 female and male runners in the following age categories. Bonus Award: Top Runner with a Stroller! Raffle prize drawing for all registered runners.
Ages: 10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30- 34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70-Older
ENTRY FEE – $25 Pre-Registration – Received by September 22, 2017 12pm EST. Pre-registrants will receive a commemorative 2017 Race & Walk T-Shirt. Day of registrant t-shirts are subject to availability. The Race Registration Fee is $30 for race day registration.
Kids Fun Run - Calling all kids age 10 and under: show some HEART and complete the Kids Fun Run to take place on the new track/field at 8:30am. No registration required, everyone is a winner!
