ABOUT THIS EVENT (New Location)
Please join us for our 3rd Annual Run/Walk. The race runs through Scenic Westhampton Beach, along beautiful Dune Road and over the bridges. The event will be a fun, family event that includes music, medals, prizes, raffles and food. Event t-shirts and backpacks will be available to all participants, while supplies last. All proceeds will support East End Elementary School students and our mission of helping them achieve academic excellence.

7:30-8:30 AM Registration and Check-In
8:30-9:00 AM Warm-Up
9:00 AM 5M Race and Walk
9:15 Fun Run (1 mile children 11 and under are invited to participate as our guest)
COURSE: This 3.0 mile (3M) course that runs through the scenic Westhampton Beach, along Dune Road and across 2 Bridges. Race is professionally timed. Flat Fast and a few Rolling Hills
AWARDS: Awards to first 3 female and male runners in the following age categories: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, Then 5 year categories to 70 and older. Awards will be presented to the first 3 female and first 3 male overall
ENTRY FEE: $25 Pre-Registration if Received by August 25th. Pre-registrants are guaranteed a Race T-Shirt and Race Bag. Registration Fee after August 25, including Race Day $30 Check, MasterCard, VISA and AMEX accepted.
RACE DAY CHECK-IN: Registration & race number with electronic chip timing device should be picked up between 7AM - 8:30AM at the Village Green, Main Street & Mill Road, Westhampton Beach.
About Our Organization
Backpacks For Fellow Students (BFFS), a 501(c)(3), created by Westhampton Beach High School Student Ariana DeMattei provides East End elementary school students a brand new backpack filled with all their required school supplies to start off the school year. The goal is to create a level playing field no matter what the socioeconomic status is, and maximize a child’s opportunity for educational success. The ultimate goal is to create lifelong learners and ultimately contributing members of the community. Since its inception in 2012 BFFS has made available over 750 backpacks to community students.
